I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry. I must have done something cruel and deviant in a previous incarnation to have drawn the short straw on this one. Jenny Lion attempts comedy with lines so weak they need 24 hour care and with all the elegant sophistication of a bus. This glorified pub quiz is barely that, as Lion mumbles from one unfunny piece of spoken word to another (I won't dignify them with the word 'joke'). She is making a documentary about her Fringe debut as a bizarre tribute to some dead poet. Lord help us, not only did I have to endure this contemptible shit stick but there's now the prospect of the whole abomination being caught forever on video.

Clearly everyone else was expecting a bit more than a mediocre pub quiz, a couple of pointless anecdotes and a few poorly written gags for their £7.50. Even the possibility of winning a coconut failed to cheer the mood. So it's her first show on the Fringe and you should make allowances, No I bloody shouldn't. Anyone who wants £7.50 of my hard-earned had better deliver at lease adequacy. So if it's disappointment you're looking for, a feeling of being cheated and a general bad mood which you can then inflict on others, go see Jenny Lion. "She's terrible" - Bloke in a green t-shirt. "What the f*ck" - Woman in sandals. "I won a coconut" - Smug bastard.
