Cambridge Medics Revue

The Chronicles of Hernia - The Lion, The Stitch and the Ward Round. Clearly there is no medical pun for the word 'Lion'. Once again, I did myself no favours by attending a medical student revue show, but if you have to suffer pain it's best done with some medics around. Unfunny sketches performed by an unfunny cast left me demanding medication to give me immediate amnesia of this confusing dire mess. Some reasonably good ideas were flogged to death and inevitably ended with the audience looking quizzically at each other wondering if they had missed the punch-line. Some softly spoken and occasionally mumbled lines were lost and can only be blamed on poor projection and bad direction.

I can only hope that they are better doctors than actors otherwise there is going to be an awful lot of people remaining ill.

Not to be taken aurally.
